Adjust Image Colors Panel Discover how the Adjust Image Colors palette enables you to target and tweak the Saturation and Lightness of individual colors in Canon's Digital Photo Professional 4. This enables you to selectively boost colors without over-saturating skin tones for example. You can darken the luminance of skies to add more drama. Black & White Photos Create effective monochrome conversions with Digital Photo Professional 4. An effective black and white conversion should feature contrasting tones that help various objects, textures and patterns stand out more effectively. You'll learn how to use the histogram and clipping warnings and the selective tone tweaking sliders to create a stronger contrast with some black shadow and white highlights in the mono conversion. Remove Unwanted Objects Using Digital Photo Professional 4’s Dust Delete/Copy Stamp Tool Palette to remove sensor spots and unwanted objects.  You can clone parts of images to remove unwanted parts such as removing a person in the ocean. You can use this tool on Canon RAW images as well as TIFFs and JPGs. Today I played around with the Pixel Blender set of filters in Photoshop. It was released with CS5 and then scaled back to just the Oil Paint filter in the latest versions. If you want to see some of the art I created check out my Behind the Lens blog. Here is a quick technique tutorial on how to create an oil painting from a photo using the Oil Paint and Liquify filters.
